AI Startup Poolside Partners With Coreweave On 2 GW Texas Data Center

AI startup poolside is partnering with CoreWeave on a new 2 GW data center in Texas.

Project Horizon will be built on the 568 acre Longfellow Ranch, and is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2027. It will utilize natural gas produced in the Permian Basin for reliable, accessible energy.

The first phase will include 250 MW of capacity through a 15 year lease, with the option to increase to 500 MW. CoreWeave will be the anchor tenant for this phase.

Poolside is in the midst of a $2 billion round that would value the startup at $14 billion. The software company is developing accurate and secure code automation, as well as artificial general intelligence.

As part of the agreement, Poolside will also receive a cluster of Nvidia GB300 NVL72 systems with over 40,000 GPUs this upcoming December.
